Product Description
The YL-524139006 control handle is the upper handle assembly (tiller head) for Yale electric pallet jacks. This aftermarket replacement fits Yale walkie pallet truck models such as the MPB040-E, MPB045-E, MPW045-E, and MPW050-E that use a two-piece upper control handle.
It includes upper and lower plastic housings with mounts for control switches (travel, lift/lower) and the wiring harness (switches not included).
It is constructed from high-strength molded plastic and matches the form and function of the original Yale handle. The handle features an ergonomic shape with contoured grips and a central hub for attaching to the tiller arm. All mounting points for the throttle potentiometer, lift/lower rocker, horn, and safety reversing switch are retained for easy transfer of existing components.

A: No, this is the handle housing only. It consists of the plastic upper and lower housing.
Q: Will this fit a Yale MPB040-EN or MPE060 model?
A: No, those later series (designated with -EN, -EZ, -VG, etc.) use a different style of handle. Yale updated the design on newer models; for example, the MPB040-EN (introduced around 2011) has a different part number for the handle head and a slightly different shape with membrane buttons.
Q: My original handle had a yellow “tortoise” speed button and other features – will those fit?
A: Yes, any auxiliary buttons or features that were part of the original handle will transfer over. The housing has the cutouts for them.
Q: Is it okay to use an aftermarket plastic handle? Is it as strong as OEM?
A: Yes, the aftermarket handle housing is made from high-quality injection-molded plastic that meets or exceeds the specifications of the OEM part. It will be as sturdy as the original.
