Product Description
The CR-44648-SUPER seal kit is a standard hydraulic seal kit for Crown PTH-50 series manual pallet jacks. This kit is specifically designed for the “newer” PTH50 models (later serial number range), especially with serial numbers 7-512501 and higher.
This super seal kit includes all seals, O-rings, spacers, backup rings, gaskets, and additional parts, providing a complete rebuild of the hydraulic unit.
Each seal is made from high-quality hydraulic-resistant materials (nitrile rubber, Teflon, and polyurethane) to withstand high pressure and continuous use. By replacing all internal seals and wear rings, this kit restores lifting performance to factory levels, eliminating oil leaks, slow lifting, or sinking issues. It’s an ideal solution if your Crown hand pallet jack’s hydraulic unit is due for maintenance or has started leaking after years of service.

Features of this Product
All-in-One seal kit
Contains additional wear parts beyond the standard seal kit (such as backup rings, shaft seals, and minor gaskets) to allow a complete hydraulic unit rebuild.
Seals are made from high-grade nitrile rubber and polyurethane
Each seal and ring is precision-made to the exact dimensions of the PTH50 cylinder, pump, and valve components
Replacing all aging seals will stop hydraulic oil leaks and resolve issues like forks slowly lowering under load (caused by internal bypassing).
Restores lifting power

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the difference between a “Super” seal kit and a standard seal kit?
A: A Super seal kit contains everything in the standard seal kit plus additional components like piston rod/shaft, end caps, screws, washers, etc., often needed for a complete rebuild. Essentially, the Super kit is more comprehensive – it ensures that when you tear down the hydraulic unit, you won’t be missing any minor parts needed to reassemble it fully.
Q: What are the signs that I need to replace all the seals in my pallet jack?
A: The clearest sign is hydraulic fluid leakage. If you see oil seeping or dripping from around the jack’s pump, handle base, or lifting cylinder, the seals are likely worn or damaged. Another sign is a loss of lifting performance – for example, if the jack requires many pump strokes to lift or fails to lift near its capacity, internal seal bypass (leaking internally) might be the cause. Additionally, if the forks slowly lower under load (drift down), it indicates that the main cylinder seal is not holding pressure. Any of these symptoms suggest it’s time for a seal kit replacement to restore proper sealing and pressure retention.
Q: What material are these seals made of?
A: The kit uses high-quality industrial elastomers. Typically, Crown pallet jack seals are made from nitrile rubber (NBR) for O-rings and basic seals because nitrile resists hydraulic oil well and handles the pressures involved. Some seals, such as the primary pressure seal or U-cup, may be made of a polyurethane blend for enhanced wear resistance. Backup rings (if included) may be Teflon (PTFE) or hard nylon. Every piece is carefully selected to meet or exceed the original Crown specifications, ensuring longevity.
Q: How often should I replace seals in a pallet jack?
A: There isn’t a strict interval, as it depends on usage. In a busy warehouse where pallet jacks are used daily, seals can last 5-10 years or more. But eventually, the wear and the oil’s additives break down the rubber. A good practice is to replace the seals when you notice the first signs of performance decline or minor leaks – don’t wait for a catastrophic failure to occur.
